Copied?

I would contact GM Nav Disc and ask if you can get an upgrade. I think you are eligible for 2 free upgrades.

You are right.. Sorry for the misinfo.

Q:The price sticker on my new vehicle says that I get two free update discs. What is the new program that GM is offering regarding navigation update discs?
A:All '06 MY or '07 MY customers who purchase or lease a GM vehicle with the factory navigation system (except Saab) are eligible for two free annual update discs. This benefit is included with the purchase of the navigation system (at least a $400 value to the customer). GM is the first and only manufacturer to offer free update discs.

Q:Are customers who own '05 MY or prior systems going to receive this benefit?
A:The owners of '05 MY and prior GM vehicles equipped with a DVD-based factory navigation system will be able to order a disc update or disc replacement from the GM Nav Disc Center at market price via the Web or toll-free number. Disc replacements but no disc updates will be available for CD-ROM navigation systems.

Why yes they did allow me to purchase a disk at market price. Damn that was big of them. For only 200 bucks, I just paid 300 for a Garmin Nuvi, hmmmmm-- eddie
