message on screen

message on screen

a message saying (check gages) is showing on my on windshield screen speedmonitor. it goes away when I hit reset, but comes right back. What should I do,?

1.) Check the gauges and see what is out of range, overheated, etc.

2.) Take it to the dealer and get it repaired.

Well normally when that message shows up, something in one of the analog guages needs looking at. Its telling you to look at things.

If I were you, I would check the gages to see if one gage is out of the normal range. If not, the car may require service.

Only time I've seen it was a low fuel situation, but I assume it could be triggered by an anomaly in the other 3 gauges as well. If all are in range, its a trip to the dealer for you.

It means you are to go check on your next door neighbors Digital and Analog Gage and make sure they're OK. That message is part of the Social Responsibility Option.
