Installed the 5/32 e-clips this weekend in hopes to stop the popping from the removable top. Mine always seems to pop the most during hot days after sitting in the sun all day at work. Well it was 90 all day yesterday and on my way home after work it was quite as mouse.
For those who haven't tried it you should it really works at least on mine and installation is very easy.

5/32 E-clips ????Tell me more....my car is a month old and it's starting, especially with the humid weather.

make sure that they didn't epoxy the rollers cause if the factory did that the eclip will not work. if the factory did glue the rollers apply a shmear( little) silicon grease on the roller and the popping should go away.

Click on the above link and press the yellow owner feedback button. Let them know that you have a new Corvette, your VIN and that your roof latch is still popping. I expect that you will be contacted. I would advise everyone to contact the plant.
This feedback mechanism will get to the Vehicle assembly engineering group and they are the folks that need to hear about this. They will do something about it. All of the initial feedback on the new design interim latches was positive. Positive enough that it went in to production. If that isn't the case, they need to know and soon.
