My 07 coupe wasn't a week old, when I let the wife take it out for her first solo drive. When she returned and pulled into the driveway, there all kinds of feathers stuck to the driver's side of the windshield. She'd hit a wild turkey. Scratches are still in the windshield. Turkey somehow survived.
A month later a ruffed grouse crossed right in front of me. It hit the grill and exited the rear of the car vaporized !!!!!!!!!Nothing but feathers.

I know Velocity Yellow attracts bugs and bees, but man, I didn't know silver attracted birds.
I have hit 3 rabbits, 2 chipmunks and 1 frog with my Vette, and the bazillion bugs of various sizes and splatter patterns...and it's only got 3500 miles on it...what realy scared me was the turkeys I almost hit....as i passed a barn a flock came out of nowhere, 2 got passt me and i just missed one with my windshield as several flew into the air...that would have sucked big time...OH and I did straddle a porcupine a few weeks ago too...didnt hear anything as i went over it...whew

I think you need to drive it on the road and not on a farm.
Going down Rt 1 this morning, freakin' crow swoops down from the side, right in front of me, and I nailed it. Was going 40 mph, so no damage to the car, but the crow wasn't so lucky. It was like the bastich was sacrificing himself to the Z06 gods. Guess he felt it was a better way to go than West Nile.
BTW, Gotcha IBTL *****!
I nailed one in my truck a few years ago. Kind of looked like the major league baseball game last year where the pitcher nailed one with a fastball. feathers everywhere!
You think eating crow is bad, try hitting a chicken ( dead center on my chest) on a motorcycle, doing about 30-40. Thank god for leather. All I saw was a poof of feathers, and then I had to scrub the $hit off my jacket. Thankfully I maintained control......... My C6 has eaten squirrel though.
