New Friend?
How many of you bought a Corvette and also gained a new friend?
I am talking about the FedEx driver of course!
I'm on a first name basis with mine now. He shows up and asks what we have for the Corvette today. Then we chat about our lives, what is going on in the world, etc. When he is delivering something to a neighbor and not me (not too likely), if he sees me outside, he even stops for a few minutes to talk. If I'm not outside, I hear the horn blow as he drives past.
At first I thought it may be a sign that I have gone mod crazy. But then I came to my senses and realized that a few deliveries a week isn't that crazy. I must just be lucky to have a friendly FedEx driver, right?

I haven't gained any new friends, but have met a lot of my neighbors. People that have just walked by in the past now stop and talk to me when I am outside with my Vette. It shows they would rather have a Corvette next door than me!
Be thankful for a friendly Fed Ex. At least you know he won't lose your packages or do damage to them.
