Titanium C6 catback?

Titanium C6 catback?

This is a longshot but AFAIK there is no titanium catback for the C6 right?
I really liked having titanium out back. It was so light and a cool conversation piece.

Ok so why don't vendors build titanium exhaust components?

I looked for Corsa but didn't find anything. I think they used to have a Corsa C5 kit but I don't see anything for C6.
I wonder if a C5 Z06 exhaust could be adapted to fit and still look good?
I guess the concern would be welds. From what I hear, welding titanium is not so easy.

They aren't offered because they would be hideously expensive. Double or maybe triple the cost of the same thing in stainless steel.

Everything. The C5 mufflers are in the "pocket" aft of each rear wheel. That area is a lot shorter on a C6, so there's no room. C6 mufflers are in the center, just forward of the rear fascia. Hence why there's no center compartment under the "floor" of the rear on C6s, just one on either side.

Thanks for the info man. I assumed there were big changes underneath when they got rid of that huge storage area.
I was always so proud of titanium on the car. I guess I'll just have to live without it.
