What does everyone use for maintenance tracking? I used to use Vehicle Manager. It ran on PPC and Windows. It was decent, but I've been using an iPhone instead of PPC.
I just tried Ownersite. It seems ok. Might be overkill.
A golf cart pencil from Oakmont and a spiral ring 3x5 note pad...I take notes on everything....and there are many cars and trucks in the notebook from over the years....

Created my own spreadsheet to track the things I need to track since I gave up on the video game-like version of MyGMLink that is being hosted by Yahoo. (seems like an appropriately named place to host it) It looks like something my grandson might like to play with.
However, I am keeping the 8 1/2 X 11 Service sheets that my dealer gives whenever I have work done.
Currently using MyGMLink, but I also keep the 8.5" X 11" sheets the Chevy service department gives me for every service, including warranty work.
When was the last time you logged into MyGMlink? I was tracking mine there expecting all the info to be safe. I logged in a couple weeks ago to find they had sold the site to Yahoo and deleted all the info.

They will eventually put the info. back if you follow the prompts and register with Yahoo after you've logged into the GM site the old way. But it may take 3-7 days for them to put your info. back out there. They eventually put both mine and my wife's cars' info. out there.

I've logged in several times in the last 2 weeks.
I registered with Yahoo right after they made the change and my data has not come back.

Did you register with Yahoo by going directly from the MyGMLink after login? That is probably the way they connect your MyGMLink username to your Yahoo username.
I've kept my service sheets from the dealer just in case. I'd rather keep up with it online since I spend so much time online, but it wouldn't take much more for me to drop them.

I've emailed and called and emailed and called and still nothing. By email they just say everything is working fine. On the phone they actually try it and see nothing is there for either of my cars and say to call back in a week or so.
I have a file folder that I put every service receipt in. When I do the service myself, I put the receipt in for the parts, etc. and note what service I did (oil/filter changes, etc.). I also keep a folder for mod receipts.
The KISS principle works best for me. I tried the GM Link thing but fortunately was keeping my KISS folder also because all of my adisappeared with the changeover.
I keep receipts and make notes on them, as they have all the numbers I need.
If I do my own oil change, I have a note book I record the changes.
You can't trust computers/systems to be there for you many times, plus, if you aren't close to one which is on, (how about dead battery on a portable/power outage) it's a total pain too.

Log in the old way??? When I go to: https://www.mygmlink.com/main/US/en/gm/home I get an IE message that it cannot display the webpage. I found out about the new site from a mailing I got from Chevy as I just purchased a new truck. It referenced www.gmownerscenter.com. Tried that and got the Yahoo site. I kept all my maintaince on the MyGMLink site. I do all my own maintance so the chevy dealer does not have any records. Got to get those records back.

I did not see any contact info on the new site. Can you provide the email and phone number?
