Changing DRL's
I searched and searched and can not find the thread that at one time explained this with pictures (I did find a couple that simply described it). My passenger amber light is out (have the replacement). I have turned the tires and removed the access panel in the wheel well. I can even put my hand on the proper light.
I can not push it in, pull out, or turn the holder.
On mine, drivers side was easy and passenger was so tight that I thought it was installed wrong, but finally came loose and is fine. Frosted my bulbs with silver paint:
It took me about 45 minutes to unscrew the socket and about a minute to replace the bulb and put the panel back on. There is a little lever that you push and turn at the same time to remove the socket and the wire connect to the socket makes it really tight.
Look at link below. It might help you with the pics provided.
