I have one. I like it, because it works. I installed it. It is pretty easy to do, though I did my install while I had the entire interior out for installation of insulation.
Very nice overall. Had the dealer install it when I went to pick it up from delivery, but the install looks super easy. This is a must have if you have hair.
There are only two bolts to remove. You simply remove them and insert the new longer bolts that came with your deflector through the brackets. There is also a template that should have come with your deflector that shows you where to cut the carpet. Read instructions two or three times and it will get more simple each time you read them.
If you do not have an electric top, the instructions tell you to just cut the wires off the right bracket. Those wires are for connecting to the trunk interlock system to prevent you from raising the top with the deflector in place. That could cause damage to the deflector and or your top. It is not really necessary to connect the wires as other wind deflectors also have to be removed before raising the top and they have no wire interlock system.
did my own install not too bad. works with windows up not to great with windows down. Be sure to connect the interlock wires for the power top. Have hit the top down button at least four times with the deflector in place. Looks like it would ruin the deflector and would be a good thing for the waterfall paint if allowed to try to raise the top.

Cant tell any difference with the windows down; with them up, just a little. It seems all hype to me and it also seems mainly for show and not so much for "go".
Just my .02 cents!
I had both - the GMPP and Vettenet. The mounting system on the GMPP is excellent - the Vettenet mounting system sucks, but it does its job much better. The Vettenet is also lower in height, which follows the lines of the car with the windows up, but it does partially block your rear view. The install on the GMPP is easy, once you figure it out. The first side shoudl take you 30 minutes and second side 5, where the Vettenet takes all of 5 combined.
I sometimes forget how well the Vette Net works. Early this morning I took a short drive in my '05 vert with the top down and since I wasn't going far (about 8 miles total) I didn't bother to install the Vette Net. WOW, what a difference. By the time I got a couple of miles up the road I wished I had installed the thing as it was a little chilly with the temp at 72 degrees and me wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt.
Yes, they do work!
