Cargo net question

I am back to this forum after selling my 98 coupe and having a brief affair with 2 1979 trans ams (reliving my youth). I have no purchased a brand new 2008 black corvette. I noticed the other day that I did not get a rear cargo net with my vehicle. I called the dealer and the salesman said that my vehicle did not come with one because it is a 1LT model. I found this highly suspicious. Can anyone give me the correct info....Thanks

In 09 you have to get a 2lt to get it....

Your dealer is correct. The net comes with 2LT, 3LT and 4LT. You can order it from your dealer or Gene at GM Partshouse.com

He's right, no cargo net or luggage shade with 1LT.

Is the Mid America luggage cover that much better than the GM? At $79.95, the price is consderably less then the GM unit.

Get one...well worth it....on short runs you can store a lot of items in it....extra cap / sunscreen [in plastic bag] / sm duster / your dog>just kidding<...good item....

That net works great. One day I went out for Chinese food to go and put two styrofoam containers back there. Made it back to work without spilling any of my Mongolian Beef or rice.

This is hard to believe BUT true....I bought a 2007 3LT with everything, msrp was 59,630 AND I did not recieve a "cargo shade"...got the cargo net only. Dealer said "too bad"...can purchase one outta parts for 210 bucks. Another dealer nearby wanted 170 dollars...OUCH!!
I noticed mid america had one for 79.99 with the corvette logo. Talked with another corvette owner & he purchased one from mid america...said it faded in a couple of months....not to waste my money on it.
