Default gm partshouse

I just want to say something about Gene at gm partshouse. I had a broken door pad on my 08 Vert (3 mo's old). My dealer could care less. It would have required 2 trips to get it fixed and who knows how much time. Anyway, I called Gene yesterday afternoon at 4:10 PM after his UPS pickup was made. I told him of my problem....which became worse.....the window now was going up&down up&down nonstop all tied into that electronic door opening pad. I did NOT want to disconnect the battery so I left the window down. Well, he said he would try to help me. And HELP me he did....the part came this morning...less than 16 hrs after I talked to him. THATS SERVICE!!!!! I installed it and everything works great again. Thanks again Gene

Gene's a great guy to do business with. He's helped me with a couple things also and answered emails quickly.

I am glad that you got your door pad issue resolved. Not too long ago I ordered a front fender from Gene that was on national backorder. I ordered it @ 4:00pm on Friday and it showed up on my door step @ 8:00am on Monday. Gene really takes care of his customers and knows his business well. Thanks again Gene!

Awesome. I'm very glad that you took the forums advice to remedy this yourself. Sometimes we need to take matters in to our own hands. Gene is top shelf and will always help if he can.

I walked in to see Gene around 4:30pm last week to order an '09 front emblem to apply to the rear of my new Sequoia (flame on, folks!). I stopped back the next day around 11:00 am to pick up my Dad who was having work done on his Buick powerwagon. Gene happened to be at the counter and I took my Dad to meet him. Gene presented me with the emblem and I almost crapped myself. What service!!

Thanks again Gene! (Btw....order those brakes for the Buick.)

I have to agree about Gene's service. I just finished an email exchange with him about a wiring harness issue and he sent me the diagram I needed. He was patient and helpful. I will go back to him whenever I need parts.

I'll jump on that...Gene has been great to deal with. Helped me with some Buick stuff, too! Now the Buick is sold and he can take some of the credit, but none of the money.

with all of the above. I've ordered from Gene several times without issue. He communicates any issues or delays quickly - makes me wonder if there's more than one Gene...

I've gotten nothing but excellent service from Gene. Whenever I need parts now I don't even bother to compare prices I just order from Gene.

Just got my first order...Very satisfied.

Grateful to Corvette Forum for introducing me to Gene.
