I have an '08 with NPP and I decided its time for my first mod. Now I noticed there are 2 options for exhaust controllers. Mild 2 Wild and Exhaust Commander.
Any differences I should know about? What I noticed was the Exhaust Commander doesnt work with the 08 visor but its cheaper. Is that the only difference between the two?
Im ready to buy asap, so any advice would be great!
Both seem to accomplish the job of opening and closing the factory NPP and Z06 exhaust. The first to the market was the M2W. The manufacturer (forum member Pipedreams) of the M2W is a very active forum member, not just a vendor. I prefer to support the people that support the forum and the hobby not just in products but with words and actions. To me it is about more than price.
Development and being first has its benefits as well as its drawbacks. It is generally easier to see what others have done and cost reduce it.

Neither work with the new visor on the 08. Matter of preference. One is cheaper, only one button, extra battery. I believe the hook up is the same. I bought to m-to wild one. It works as designed. I hadn't seen the other one before buying the mild to wild one. I might have gone for the cheaper one. IMHO.
Do the extra buttons on the M2W do anything special?
Sent you a PM It is not extra, one is open and one is closed. This is the same design and unit I developed over 2 yrs ago. IMO it's been super reliable and it's guaranteed for life, I sell the one button also but find the smaller 2 button FOB fits in the ashtray and does not have a pull up antenna. If you are shopping for a few items my Mild2Wild is resold in just about every Corvette parts house and the Corvette Museum so you can do some one stop shopping
I have the Sunset Orange Creations one button xmtr, works great.
I never considered using the GD opener buttons on the visor. How can you show off the 2 different sounds from the exhaust and talk to your buddies about it if you're sitting in the car with your hand in the air (call on me teach, call on me!)?
Both offered here do the same thing. I prefer the one button toggle. You don't need to extend the antenna unless you are away from the car. My one button toggle fits in the ash tray velcroed to the inside of the door. I was opting for a hard switch until I found a remote on sale here.
