I did that today.. my wife was camping on her own and misplaced the keys to the Jeep, so I had to "save the day" and deliver the extra set. Three hours back and forth, but... I did get a wave from a Viper! We can all get along!

Just got back now from our 1100 mile two day trip through Yellowstone to Billings (from Utah) and back through Yellowstone. Tunnel busting was real fun. Didn't give the Vette that much of a work out in Yellowstone though since it was heavy traffic. It got to cruise around a lot at the speed limit though at a leisure 1100rpm.

Beartooth and Chief Joseph passes let it stretch its legs a bit. Just about everyone besides the 2 million bikes (big get together for them in Red Lodge, MT this weekend) pulled over when they saw the Vette in their rear view mirror.

Chief Joseph pass is smooth and fun. Beartooth is very scenic but also very rough on the Wyoming side with no guard rails in a lot of areas. Loved using the manual feature for the auto.

Thanks for the offer anyways.

Yeah, traffic was thick at times especially with the Motorcycle show in Red Lodge. Yellowstone was jammed pack and I don't think I'll go on a weekend again. One of these days they'll finish the construction on US212 near Cooke City

Seems like that's been under construction for decades! Great run through Cook City though. HOpe you had fun.
