Default '09 interior changes?

Does anyone know if the interiors have been redesigned in the '09s?

In March of this year, I rented an '08 vert and it was cramped. A couple of months ago, I rented a ZHZ from Hertz in Houston. It too was cramped.

Last night, I took a look at an '09 Z06. Had plenty of leg room and headroom. And I'm 6'7".

So, were the interiors changed for '09 or is it a Z06 thing?

Zero changes to the interior, except for the addition of the blue tooth controls on the steering wheel.

The seat was probably just adjusted differently. The first time I sat in a C6 I thought I would never be able to drive it. After playing with the seat adjusters for 10 minutes I found the sweet spot and I suddenly fit fine. I'm 6' 5" 280 lbs BTW...

Actually, the Z06 interior has changed for 09.. the dashboard, door, glove box panels will now match any color inlays on your seats (like the two-tone option in a coupe). As far as height...dont think so, but because its a fixed roof, there is a difference in clearance.

you need to adjust seat back straight up move seat down and back all the way then tilt seat back against rear compartment wall. Son inlaw is 6' 9" tall he was having problems in my daugthers Corvette I adjusted seat and taught him to drive stick he's a happy boy.

maybe that fixed-roof thing in the Z makes for a couple inches more in headroom. can't imagine any other interior dimensions changed, tho.

enjoy the Z!!!!

No physical changes to the '09 interior. The parts will be a drop in replacement to any previous year C6. They have added bluetooth controls to the left side of the steering wheel (not backward compatible) and they have made some cosmetic changes for the Z06 as noted.

The regular C6 also has some minor changes for 09. 2LT red center storage compartment is now black instead of red. Not sure if this is the same on cashmere, titanium, etc. Also seat belts are now black instead of red

One of many reasons I chose Corvette was it fits me "like a glove." I'm 6'3". During the test drive, I stopped at stop sign, and "I'm completely comfortable" just came out of my mouth. Good stuff! I believe the only variable you experienced was due to different adjustments.
