Default Valve Lift

What would the valve lift be on a stock C6 if you changed out the stock 1.7 rockers for 1.8? Anyone?

Depends on what engine we will be working with.

LS2 has a 0.525" lift on both lobes. Divide that by 1.7 and you get 0.3088" actual cam lift. Now, multiply that by 1.8 and the new gross lift is 0.556".

The LS3 has 2 different lifts. The intake would go from 0.551" to 0.583" lift. The exhaust goes from 0.525" to 0.556" lift.

The LS7 also has 2 different lifts. The intake would go from 0.593" to 0.627" lift. The exhaust would go from 0.589" to 0.623" lift.

When replacing the stock rocker to a higher ratio rocker, the cam duration changes by a couple of degrees.

"the cam duration changes by a couple of degrees."

???

I believe the actual opening event and closing events ground into the cam lobe are unchanged...however, the duration when measured at .050" lift should change about 5.9% because the change from 1.7 to 1.8 rockers lifts the valve at a faster rate through the cycle...right?

I guess my wording was not clear. You are correct on the duration of the cam is unchanged, the ramp rates of the higher ratio rockers does tend to change the duration slightly.
