Would you know if you hit & run in a Corvette?
I am even less of a fan of Bob Novack after reading this. Who wouldn't know they had hit someone with their Corvette doing 10 MPH?
Hey, he gets a few points for owning a Corvette anyway.

witnesses say the guy he hit bounced off the windshield and the douche claims he didn't know he hit anybody in his vette

I notice every single bug that I hit with my vette. I think I would have noticed someone bouncing off my windshield.

That's how informed you are. He's an editorial writer/talk show personality not a politician. But he's an apologist for the right so he'll just make up some history that fits his self image.

You're almost right but if you've ever heard him or read his stuff you would see he's just a twit, not an apologist for anyone. Too bad he drives a Corvette.

I wonder why the news readers on TV keep saying he hit him with his "black Corvette". Does the color matter? Do they usually point out the color of a vehicle in other accidents? I don't think so.
Well, he is nicknamed "The Dark Prince". What a jerk.

"In honor of jpee"
hmmm, I don't know if I'd call him a twit, whatever that is....(a silly annoying person). Drives away after hitting someone, has a hand in outing a CIA employee, hmmmm. Seems like it's time for him to retire from all public life.

Regardless of his politics, this sounds like
I used to work in a building on the corner of that intersection, and this sounds like *exactly* what happens there all the time -- people are too self-absorbed to comply with the yellow (and red) lights, and drive through the intersection as the light changes (in fact, very commonly *after* it *has* changed), expecting that they'll get away with it -- others' inconvenience/endangerment be damned.
Heaven forbid they do the right thing and have to sit through a light cycle for another 40 seconds! Of course, they're all sorry and apologetic *after* they've hurt someone (and a cop is standing there) -- otherwise they just give you the finger if you yell at them and they think they can get away.
A $50 fine for this is just wrong -- roast him.
