without a doubt Jason over at www.corvetterecycling.com was the biggest help. he was able to get me an unbelievable deal on my fenders and rear panels, as well as everything i needed to do this conversion. i know a lot of people go with gene culley and i talked to gene myself. he does have a great deal on the package and seems like a sqaure dealing kind of guy, too. but i would definitely recommend checking in with jason for any of your needs.
also, bob over at house of wheels got me a great deal on the z06 replica wheels and shipped them super fast! i could not be happier with them.
also a local tire guy here in augusta, ga helped me out with the new wider rubber. its called marc younts tire and any of you ga/sc vette guys should definitely check them out if you don't shop with them already.
no doubt. i should've asked her to hit the front, too.
actually even though it turned out for the best, it was nightmare to get to this point. i was without my car for the whole month of july and missed out on several great events and a killer cruise. but i guess alls well that ends well.
Just curious; how severe was the damage? My damage is similar looking and the "tub" was damaged requiring replacement.
Looks great by the way!
not that bad. it missed the absorber on the end of the actual bumber bar behind the rear bumper cover. so it was almost entirely panel damage and that's it. i think the estimate came in around $2500.
