I would first wash the windows with blue Dawn dishwashing soap to remove any and all wax/polish buildup. Then use Invisible Glass to clean the windows. Great product and all that I ever use on windows. You can get it at about any auto parts store or Walmart.

You know, I've heard that Dawn will remove wax, but I washed my car three times with it and the water would still bead as if I did nothing. The wax(sealer) in question was rejex, so I wonder how effective it is for rejex? My guess is not very. FWIW.

Do you remember the very first time you washed your car when it was new? The clearcoat on a new car will make it bead also, so you might just be seeing that same effect. Dawn will take off all the old wax/polish.

I've never found anything better than Zaino Z-12 Clear-View Glass Polish.... check it out because it works fantastic and it cleans just about anything off your windows...........

Take a look at this thread:

Seems to be conflicting opinions. Rejex is a polymer just like Zaino.

I use a non-ammonia based glass cleaner and microfiber towels. No streaking at all.

Invisible Glass with a micro fiber towel works great for me, I won't use anything else.

I'll add my .02. Several glass cleaners from glass/window shops will work. Then I use "waterless car wash". This product is like a teflon type polymer and you won't even need windshield washers when it rains. At least on your d.d. vette's don't belong in the rain
