For the people that have the T505 can this be hard-wired into the car? In other words, can the unit turn itself on when the ignition is turned on?

This unit would be used in only one car as my other vehicle has blutooth.

Thanks.

I have a very loud exhaust and it works fine. You just have to turn up the volume on your stereo after mating it to the stereo. It sounds and works just like Onstar. I have one for my CTS-V, which has Onstar, and use it all the time for hands free.

It's all about how much money you want to spend.
Will thhe 505T work with any bluetooth phone or just Motorola ones?

I'm not sure how much talking you do, but once charged I've gone a few weeks between charges with mine. If plugged in all the time it would be charging the battery and possibly shorten the life of the battery? I don't think the battery is replaceable?

When the ignition is turned off then it would not recharge the unit.

This is more of a permanent solution.
