Default 08 automatic shift boot install

I have done a search (maybe operator error) and I haven't found a DIY for 08 auto shift boot install. I have both the boot and **** from DSV and would like to change. I have found the DIY for the **** but the boot looks different from the manual. Seems to me the console cover needs to come off and new boot may need to be glued to the ring. Need help can anyone point me to the instructions?

I agree Redline does have some nice install directions/ pics... I printed them out for future use.

Redline in their instructions says to take the **** apart before removing (trim piece and button). Why is this necessary? The leather **** I got from DSV is together. Do I need to take it apart before I install it?

The button is connected to shift lever. The button would block you from pulling up the shifter **** for removal.
