Default Car covers

I would like to buy a cover for my coupe. The car is garaged but at times left outside. What cover is best for outside and are they water proof? Is the side that touches the car a soft material? When looking on line there are so many to choose from not sure what I should buy.
Thanks for comments.

Most people will tell you to get the Noah, but I really like the tan flannel covers. They are very soft on the inside and will not scratch your paint. Plus they fold up more compact than the triple ply material covers.

I used to get the Covercraft Tan Flannels until they got too expensive for me. I bought one from Zip Products for $130 and I'm just about to complete my third summer in Arizona (and I cover every day of the year since it's my daily driver).

I bought the all weather car cover from RPI as I keep my car outdoors for 3 seasons. I have had it for a couple of months now and it is great, we have had plenty of rain and it just beads up and rolls off the cover. The car stays dry, fits great, will cost you $240.00. It is soft lined and will do the trick for you.

I Couldn't Be Any Happier W/ The Coverking Storm Proof....it's Light Wt., Easy On/off,great In Rain, And Breathes Very Well. Only Thing Is It's About $265, But Has Not Left Any Marks Or Swirls In Paint And Is Machine Washable

I have a Wolf cover that I have been using for a couple of years with no problems to the paint. I generally don't use it outside, but use it in the garage to keep the hanger rash to a minimum.

I am in the same boat mate, as I have no garage. I will rent a garage spot this winter, but still want a cover. Do you have a link for this RPI cover?

**EDIT**
NM bro, found it. Thanks for the info!
