Hmm, I'm somewhat skeptical of that number. A quick check of the JeffHardy search tool for GM Buypower site finds:
2141 2009’s
6540 2008’s
308 2007’s
8989 total dealer stock.
Considering an average of 150 units produced per day this is a 59.926 day supply. When you then consider that it takes roughly 6 weeks for a Corvette order to become a production car, that isn't too bad.

I don't think they are selling 150/day.
If Jeff Hardy is accurate, they appear to have sold about 900 2008 models since Aug 1st. That is about 75/day. That would mean they would have to be selling 150 plus 75 or 225 Corvettes per day to reduce the 2008 inventory and keep the 2009 inventory at the current level.
Anyone think the economy can support a sale rate of 225 per day?
I think 0% will be extended.
I have been looking to buy a 2006 or 2007 used vert. I have noticed the prices are dropping a lot faster in the last 3 weeks on the used cars.

Days supply is generally figured on a sales rate Vs. inventory calculation. 150 day supply is (duh!) too high.....Ideally Manufacturers like to see days supply in a 30-60 day window...

If they had 60 days of inventory, they would not have 0% money.
I remember last year lots of 07s on the lots after the introduction of the 430/436 hp 08s and with a weak economy sales are still slow and almost 20% (6500+) of the total 08 build still on lots for great deals and I bet the 0% will continue, I for one have helped out the 09 buys as I had to have a Cyber Gray version wanted the color more than 0%. Expect if the economy remains slow 08s to continue with the 0% and possible for 09s if they keep stacking up on lots
great opportunity to extend it maybe make 60 for all models. That's all thats holding me back right now, I think that the waiting will pay off soon.
Same here, but I still may have to go with ordering a 2009 and forego the 0%. Searching Jeff Hardy, etc., there are very few in the country (none in my area) of what I want - coupe, VY, 3LT, MN6. Who bought all the yellow Corvettes?
