Default question for rejex users

I used rejex for the first time 2 wks a go. what a shine would to much time have past to apply a second coat. the car is kept in a garage, but has been driven since, or should I wash and buff out the first coat and apply 2 coats 12 hrs apart.

I've put two coats on a couple of times. Go ahead and do it. Rejex recommends it, of course!

There is no problem waiting two weeks between coats, you just need to wait about 12 hours (depending upon temperature and humidity) to allow the polymer to cross-link.

After two weeks, be sure to wash before applying another coat of Rejex.

Just clean the car well again and add another coat. I find the front and back bumpers seem to "wear" faster so I reapply those areas every 3 months and the whole car every 6 months.

The only issue I can see is if you don't get it clean first. If you Rejex over spots you won't be able to wash them off without taking off the Rejex. Rejex over Rejex - Rejex over water spots -

Default Rejex over wax?

My question on this is; can you , or should you, wax over rejex, or rejex over wax? I just drove mine home (700 miles) from the Museum. What should I do first?

Wax over Rejex I used Pinnacle XMT 180 carnauba over 2 coats of Rejex..WOW what a deep shine. Rejex over wax This will prevent the Rejex from bonding to the paint.

Make sure the car is clean and dried well, then add the 2nd coat of Rejex. Heck, add 3, 4 ,5 coats. I have 3 coats on my black and it REALLY shines and protects the paint!

Does this mean you have to remove the prior wax, or will it just wear off over time?

Wash the car with Dawn dish washing liquid in order to remove all previous wax, then apply the Rejex. Once you have one or two coats of Rejex applied, you can use a detail spray for touchups.

Never wax over Rejex. If you Rejex over wax the Rejex will not last as long. As the wax wears away so will the Rejex.

Multiple coats of Rejex is all you need. If you dirve the car regularly do it every 4 months. Clay bar then Rejex each spring.

I guess my polymers were cross linking last night. If I had known I would have stayed out of the garage. :o

After two weeks, be sure to wash before applying another coat of Rejex.
I wash my C6 and put a coat of Rejex on saturday and put a second coat on sunday. Makes the lovebugs easy to remove. If you live in Florida, you know about lovebugs.
