Tire Performance deterioration
Hi guys,
I bought a C6 with 4.10's and about 440rwhp and the tires were just above the wear bars. (Stock eagle f1's )
It's getting close to the end of the driving season almost 8 weeks till snow and I am pondering buying tires before the end of the year or wait till next year.
Thing is I assume car tires are like motorcycle tires and they don't hook up well when they get close to worn out.
I spin easily in 3rd and I wonder if I am missing out on feeling of good hard accelleration sincemy tires spin so much. Don't get me wrong I love drifting and spinning but ...
So am I missing out on so good hard noticable accelleration or do 4.10's and 440rwhp just spin anytime all the way through to 4th.
I have a feeling based on feedback I will be buying new tires...
