I recently saw a yellow C6 like yours and the owner of it had a buddy who had a wht C6 and they both replaced the head light buckets with black and they both really looked awesome. Wish I could have taken a pic.
I did the same thing last year, 5 to a 6.......there is most certainly a difference, isn't there? The C6 just seems so much more refined....I would be curious to know your impressions of the differences too.

I have seen a couple of yellow vettes that did this, and I have to agree, it looks amazing! The pictures I've seen though were odd angles though, I'd really like to find more pictures!

There really is a huge difference! Most notably I would have to say is just the feel of the car. The cockpit is much more refined, more modern. But the biggest thing is just the way it drives, its a much smoother feeling car. Where I used to feel like I had to fight the C5 to make the slightest driving maneuvers, the C6 is instant-responding and takes little to no effort to get it where you want it. It's also a much better car for long drives (having done a 250 mile drive to pick it up in the C5 and 250 miles back in the C6 back to back), its much more comfortable and luxurious feeling.
I'm finding new differences every day, and I haven't regretted making the switch in the slightest bit yet. I'm very impressed with the C6 in almost every aspect of the car so far, from the slight shake of the cam at idle to the sharp, exotic design of the exterior. This is an amazingly well executed machine, and continues to impress me with every drive.
Congrats...enjoy the C6 ...may I ask what the dealer gave you for trade in value on your 01?
$15k.
Kinda bummed out on that aspect, as it was a flawless car. But oh well, I really wasn't expecting too much better and I wasn't about to let this '05 go.
