Welcome to the Corvette world! I still have a turbo 99 Mustang but the wife has 3 Corvettes so I spend a lot of time over here instead of in the Mustang forums.
Nice ride Doc - hope its in your name only as TX is a 50-50 state when it comes to divorces! You got the license plate holder answer but you also asked about NPP and control of same. Stock you interior baffles will open under certain throttle positions and engine speeds (i.e. 3500 rpm at FOT, etc). Trick thing to do is add an electonic controller (a 5 minute install in fuse box under passenger floor mat) from Ed at Pipedreams or you can get one at Corvettes of Houston (on 45 N) as they handle Ed's controller as well.
Good luck with the new car - looks super and just what the doctor ordered (sorry, just couldn't resist! )

Good follow through!!!
Ya the Doc is just a screen name and the divorce is amicable. So no worries.
I've learned quite a few things these past few days reading this forum and having some cockpit time in the car. I wonder if Corvettes of Houston can install the NPP in the box because I am THAT non-mechanically/electronically inclined. I changed out the license plate bulbs and map light bulbs with the LED's and that's about it.
By the way, the forum members that told me that the license plate bracket was installed with sticky tape was correct. I was so happy that turned out to be the case.
Just in case you guys missed the other thread:

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
