With the weekly threads of vette owners getting their rocker panels messed up with improper jacking techniques, I've decided to look for a set. A quick google from this set of 4 for $69.99. Does anyone have experience with this company? I see many places charging $50 for a pair, this seems like a cost effective set. Anyone have a better idea? Thanks in advance!
The company is good there are some out there less expensive, several forum members have made their own from hockey pucks, I purchased mine I believe for $50.00 I think it was from Southern Car Parts.

the only reason you see threads every week on this subject is because the owners don't insist on there use and even bring them with! my tire guy was more than happy to do it my way

The best thing you can do and the least expensive way is ' Useing hockey pucks '. That is what I did.
The cost was under $7.00. You can get them from any sporting goods store, Ie: Sports Chalet. (Thats where I got mine from)
They will work perfect, just as good as the ones talked about in these posts, but most of all you'll be saving around 50 bucks
Facade: I was looking at those through the bavauto website. Have you used them both? The attachment peg for the rectangular versus the circular seems to be entirely different...
Also, at $13 a piece, it ends up being $52 for the set. Prices must have gone up since someone said you could get them for $30 total.
pictureman: Do you really use standard hockey pucks for your jacking pucks? What kind of mods do you need to make it attach?

I use the round BMW pucks - they snap right in and stay in place (there is no peg on the round pucks). I have left them installed since I purchased them and have not had any problems.
I have not used the rectangular ones so I can't comment on those.
It is amazing that in just 3 months, the price of both BMW types have doubled - - we must be giving them a lot of business!

Thanks for the response. I'll go ahead and order a set. Sucks about the doubleing though!
