Build date.

How do you determine your build date. Someone said it is on the drivers door decal. If so how do your read it???????

Driver's door decal only has the month and year of build. Send a PM, your email address, VIN, and what you want (Build date) to GMautotech. He'll look it up for you. Here's a link to his profile.

FYI - I got a copy of the build sheet the build date from my local dealer. Took about 60 sec and was free.

Are you saying you got a copy of both, because the build date is not on the build sheet, believe it or not?

But yes, your dealer should be able to look up the build date for you.

Your local dealer can give you a VIS print out which is what Jim referenced above. Any dealer with access to the VIS can do this. They cannot however give you your build sheet unless it was one that they saved from your car's delivery. This is what a build sheet looks like. Is this what you received?
