Received letter from GM today re: 05 filler cap problem. Seems some caps will not come off or won't tighten. Recommends not to apply downward force to the fuel cap when tightening. Nothing has to be done unless you experience the problem. Protection for this problem is extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles from from when vehicle was placed in service. Did not realize this was a common problem.
