Default M2W Vs. Commander?

Picked up an '08Z yesterday and am looking at options for exhaust control. I know pulling the fuse is cheapest. However, I had NPP in a Box on my '08 C6 and very much liked the ability to turn down the volume if the drone started to get annoying. I have visited the vendor websites but have come to no clear consesus. If anyone has evaluated both, are there distinct advantages / disadvantages of one versus the other.

Please, vendors, I am looking for something a little less biased than you might provide.

Thanks for looking.

Exhaust open, exhaust closed, it wouldn't matter who made it, M2W is the top pick, so let's hear what the reason is?

I looked at both before I bought last week and decided on the Commander because I wanted the colored remote and also the one button remote. Other than that I didn't see any other real differences.

I think the M2W was $99 and the Commander was only $70.

I looked at both and went with the M2W, both products seem to be close to the same. The feedback on this forum with the number of people praising the product (M2W), the Vendor and Ed's first class service was the difference for me.

Ed at PD sold me my NPP in a box, and the transaction was flawless. I had created a wiring nightmare as i was hardwiring a Valentine 1 at the same time as the NPP. In Panic, I called Ed, he assured me that everything would work, went back and saw my goof, redid and it worked fine until yesterday...................when I upgraded to a Z06!

From what I have heard on other posts, N2W is more popular. Customer service does make a difference.

I went with the Commander. Couldn't see paying extra money for the same function. Easy install, no problems 6 months later.

M2W was first to market and has the most units sold. I've never seen a complaint about it. Mine works beautifully. Can't comment about the commander because there was never any reason for me to try it.

Commander one button here, life is confusing enough and i saw no need for two buttons. it works great was less expensive and came in colors to match my car. btw i didn't need customer service b/c it was simple to install and works perfect.

I looked at both and went with the Exhaust Commander. Both work fine and carry a good warranty. The M2W gets more press here on the forum but is not any better.

I like the Commander because it is a one button toggle on/off which makes it easier to use. It has an antenna on the remote but you don't need to extend it unless you are far way from the car.

Let's face it, a remote on/off switch is hardly worth $100. I saved $30 by buying the Exhaust Commander.

Just ordered a M2W for my 09 Z06 which isn't even built yet from Ed, mainly because Ed is a stand up guy and very helpful should you need assistance.

If you bought from Ed before you should know that his products are quality. It is up to you as to what you feel is best for you.

I like BOTH products, but like the 1 button simplicity doing its job very well and less expensively.

Both are great products and both are great vendors, I'm sure you won't go wrong with either one you choose...
