You guys are ruff! Help me take off that front bumper! Yeah that a spelling error. I got the name from my employees. They say I'm like a black Tony Soprano.

Murphy's Law: nothing is ever as simple as it should, or could, be.
The front bumper on a C6 is a good example.
I'm looking at the procedure as outlined in "Bumpers and Fascias" in Volume 1 (of 3) of the official GM Service Manual and it is too lengthy to reproduce here. It references other sections of the manual for related procedures that must included in removing and replacing the front bumper fascia.
So my point is this: if you intend to keep you C6 for a few years and you also intend to work on it yourself, invest in a set of these shop manuals. They may seem a bit pricey ($160-$200) but the information within them is invaluable! The 3 manuals cover every aspect of the vehicle and every page (and there are thousands of them!) contains excellent diagrams plus step-by-step instructions.
I ordered my set through my local Chevrolet dealer parts dept. but I know they are also available from vendors on this Corvette Forum.
Either way, get yourself a set. Next to buying the car,the manuals are the second best investment you can make!
