the first thought that comes to mind is either rim protector or tire too wide for wheel. someone will comment on this.
that doesn't seem to be the case. is it on properly (correct side facing out)?
just checked tirerack; sez rim size correct for tire size.
therefore, I go back to wrong side of tire on outside? altho fr. the pic above, it appears to be mounted correctly (it is asymetric with diff compounds outside to inside of tire). see center pic: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....3YR0SPORTPS2N0
I don't know. I'd send it to Michelin tech and ask them if no one else has a good answer and the tire's mounted correctly.
Looks a front rim and a back rim. The back rim looks like it has more tire stuffed on it so more 'rim guard'. The front wheel looks to have a smaller tire on it so it doesn't portrude as much.
