If you wake up at 2 in the morning THINKING about how you are going to buy your new C6........you will then wake up at 2 in the morning just to go out to the garage to look at it after you get it........its a no-win situation.
The only way out of it is to drive your brand new C6 later in the day...and then go to sleep with a big smile on your face!!!
...but does anyone miss the pop-up headlights...even a bit?
I miss the pop ups from a styling point of view but not at ALL from the feeble light they attempted to put out on the road in front of you. On the C5, you were overdriving the headlights at night at anything over 20 mph!!!!! I LOVE the cone of light the C6 headlights put out there!!!!

I miss the C4 pop-ups and the way they did a back flip when they came up. The C5 was actually pretty boring....but I still liked them. I agree with another poster, however, that the C5 headlights were lame. Drove the C6 at night again this past weekend..... I had forgotten how well the headlights light up the night
I had the super high mileage '99 that I gave away to my son in May and the '07. I found that the '99 is easier to drive than the '07, but all the new bells and whistles, more power and etc... makes up for a lot. The C-6 is a fine car but that '99 is something special too.
I like the '99 so much that I kept it after getting the c6.
Good old Schultz is back on TV! TV land I think. Was one of my favorites back in the 60's.
How do you like your Governor?
Don't want to hijack but she is one tough lady........and did I mention she is hot. She'll be great.
Back to the topic....Can't say anything about moving from a C5 to a C6 as moved from an 84' C4 to a 07' C6. The grin just won't go away even after having her two years.
I love the performance of my C6 but there is something I will always miss about the C5. There's something about the C5 style and lines. Must be a guy thing. My wife likes the C6better.
