Just bought the 1953-2008 Corvette Black Book and was surprised to find it did not contain the product numbers for total cars produced and the colors produced. Is this info available now or do I have to buy another book when the 2009 issue gets printed? Thanks

Pretty sure all '08 production was over with by June. I'm thinking the author of the Corvette Black Book didn't have the production numbers when his book went to the printer so he just had it printed without that info. I was hoping the info was available now so I didn't have to buy another black book ('09 version) just to get the '08 numbers.

I've been buying the Corvette Black Book (CBB) for many years... and to the best of my memory, the current year book never has the production totals for the current year's car... i.e., the 2008 CBB has total numbers for 2007, but doesnt have total production numbers for model year 2008, just as the 2007 CBB had 2006 totals, but didn't have 2007 total production numbers, etc).

In the same way, the 2009 CBB will have the 2008 totals you seek, but not 2009 totals.
