Default Onstar Takes control!....>>

So I'm driivng along today, minding my business in my 13 month old C6... All of a sudden Onstar interrupts my radio listening with a fear based ad for their services. Dang, I though it was another Republican Political ad.. They basically said they could no longer help me in the case of an accident, disablement, or other incident where their "services" colud keep me safe... All I had to do was touch the Onstar button and be saved (after a small credit card transaction). I've been ignoring their twice a day telephone solicitations for a month now. Thank goodness they finally stopped....Maybe I need to do the Democratic thing and disable it for good.....

If you had some level of OnStar service (Safe & Sound) for the 1st 12 months, I guess they just wanted you to know they were signing off.

I have the Directions & Connections. Not sure if this is a good value for me or not. I normally can find my way. I guess if I ever have the "big one" and OnStar saves my life, it may be worth the cost?

So, did you tell them to put your car on the no-call list? If I was driving along and they did that to me I'd be a little put out..........

OnStar may be of value to some people and that is good. OnStar uses basically scare tactics. If you don't have it, your air bags will not be detected.

Well, the last 8 years of Repub. administration has produced our biggest government ever, but as a Repub myself, I don't count Bush as one anyway.

That's why I never activated mine to begin with. Crap, useless service IMHO.

a political party is a political party, what they name themselves makes no difference, the party is about power and money for the ones at the top of the pyramid
