I swore I'd never lower another one of my cars but the C6 looks so good down low I had to. Thanks to the info from the forum here, it was easy. Took me a couple hours, including polishing the wheels. Also installed the RPI side blackouts. Here's a pic and thanks for lookin!
An FYI for cutting the rear bushings: I tried using the PVC cable cutter like I read about here but I just didnt have the patience. So I put a long blade into my V28 Cordless Sawzall and cut through in about 5 seconds. You have to turn the bolt CCW full lock and snug it to keep it from turning. Then place a stand under the spring and lower the jack a little which raises the bushing into an exposed position. Of course, make sure the blade is placed so it will not touch anything around it.
Looking great!
How much were you able to lower the front?
Mine came down about 3/4". I still have about 2 fingers gap, and I want to go lower.
The rear came down only about 1/4"

Our fingers might be different so here's what mine measures out to from level floor to the bottom edge of the fender lip at wheel center. I also got only about a .25 on the rear which is why I had to cut.
