Default Take yer pick...

While driving home Sunday, I saw this trasport loaded with new Vettes at a convenience store/truck stop not far from home. Still there today (Tuesday). I hope these are a dealer allotment and anxious owners are not waiting for delivery. This is not the first shipment I've seen here - a couple of months ago, load was Indy Pace cars.

Sorry for the awful pics, all I had was the Blackberry and its a lousy day lightwise for photos:

So much for the "never seen rain" statement. I'll take the Black Z06 up front please.

Something odd about the Z06 above the tractor. It appears the Z06 emblem is positioned above the side scoop and it looks like there is a side marker lamp where the Z06 emblem is normally placed. Can't see the other Z06 clear enough to see if it's the same. Also the white C6 behind the subject Z06 also has what appears to be a side marker lamp. I'm guessing these cars are headed for a ocean port for a trip overseas.

Awesome pic. What is the black one on the bottom?

Looks like it has different rims, is that a Z option?

That's a Euro Z06. That side marker/light (where the Z06 logo usually is) is there per European laws, and so they moved the Z06 logo up.

Notice also the 2 thingies under the headlights, I don't believe US vettes have those either!

If you believe the "all Corvettes are red" statement, thats nothing but a truckload of mistakes!

At least a few of those Vettes are definitely for export. As mentioned, the additional side marker as well as the headlight washers are dead give-aways.

I think you are right, as the white one has something on the side also and its not a Z.....and we know its not a "Z51" badge as the factory has decided to wait for the owners to put that on!

I don't doubt the Euro specs (Nice catch, Joe), but why then would Springfield, MO be on the transport route? Wouldn't the cars go to the Eastern seaboard - not west?
