Column Lockup on C6??

Column Lockup on C6??
Is this an issue as it was on the C5....
Had the column lock bypassed and then tuned out etc.. on my C5 so no issues (except that one time I got the pull key message which prompted me to take care of it) but now that I have an '08 C6 I was wondering is it an issue at all with the C6?
What prompted my question is I saw a post by a vendor saying they were seeing more and more C6's with the issue...is that so???

you may not want to hear this but the C6 does'nt have a "key" or a place to put one on the column or on the dash or the doors for that matter{except for the emergency}and the column doesn't lock {at least not on mine}
