I told the truth to the officer, didn't think I was going 1 mph above 80 (which I consider safe on a divided 6 lane hwy with light traffic). That said, however, I would never question a LEO, because I trust them and greatly respect what they do for us.
Cheers
Nice post for a newbie! Great way to get yourself started here....
OP's like you give the rest of us vette drivers a BAD NAME!
Oh BTW... did I mention I guess I'm one of those "PIG"S you refer to since I'm a state police officer!
Dumb pig? Can you believe that comment?
Anybody who hides in the bushes to make a living is more of a skunk IMO. Broadcasting that you're a trooper doesn't make everybody warm and fuzzy. Get over yourself.
"Well, I got you on radar at 96, didn't your radar detector go off?"
(Crap . . . I'm done for!) "Er, no sir, you must have had a good hiding place because I didn't see you until you pulled me over"

So in your mind it's O.K. to hide behind a keyboard and say stuff you'd never say to anyone's face?
Just got pulled over a few hours ago for 45 in a 35. The cop was a real a hole but let me go with a warning. I then realized it was the same cop that pulled me over for going 90 in a 40 back when I had my S2000. Luckily he didn't remember me.
]I figured I'd get a post like yours [/B]. . . and I could explain all of my experience while driving spirited but safely, but . . . you probably would not understand Mr. Holier than thou . . . I stand rejoiced!
I was waiting for the first finger wagging to show up
