Battery disconnect/memory seat
My car is at the dealer under warranty for a replacement motor. I assume that they will disconnect battery and I will lose my seat memory settings as they always move seat. If there is anyway to rsetore settings please advise. Beside the point but the dealer has had the car since the end of august so will be like getting a new car again.

There should be no loss of the memory postions. The only thing that should be affected with a battery disconnect is the window index and that is easy to reset as well the dealer should do that prior to you picking up the car. Once you get the car back it should be a simple matter of pressing the memory button and your drivers settings should return to normal.

I don't think you lose the seat memory just the clock and window index position.
I always have my battery disconnected when not being used and I don't remember ever losing the seat memory
