Thanks for the info. These packages don't help me any. I only listen to a few channels from each company and don't need the whole package. I thought we could choose a la carte which stations we wanted and save money.

I'm confused. I paid a year subscription to XM.

If I want the best of Sirius do I call up and tell them that and how much do they charge me extra?

Is this on there website or something?

Thanks for the help

80's channel on XM sux. 80's on sirius great. which one do they use. same for all the other similar channels. unless there is more to come, this merger has been worthless for the consumer

It is my understanding that this will be an option, but it will require new hardware.

It is great for the consumer. We can finally get Stern on XM!! Without the merger with Sirius your XM radios would have been boat anchors. Let's hope Sirius/XM can succeed...no thanks to our scumbag politicians delaying a decision pushing this company further into debt with there stall tactics.

Reps and Dems lost my vote solely over there corruption on this merger. I'm voting independent!

Interesting....

I tried to re-up my XM service once the free stuff from my Z06 ran out (I bought it from Rick @ EVS woohoo!)

anyways -- called them up, got the 77/year deal and told them to send me a bill as I refuse to give them my credit card.

They never sent one - called back, they never sent a second one. Now I'm getting their Fu*king automated calls.

They really must not want my money - XM service is marginal, I was on the fence about paying 77year but the comedy stations are worth it every now and then. With all this BS how none of the reps will actually do what they say they are going to do, I have little incentive to call them back and try again.

I'll have to give this some thought. My free 3 months will be up in mid-November. The XM reception is not all that great here even with no trees or tall buildings. As others have noted the signal is in and out for no reason. Thanks for the link.

Thanks, Rick. Sure wish they had some smaller packages. My wife has only about 8-10 channels she listens to.
