Hello All,
I'm new to the forum so let me start by saying hello. Just purchased my first Vette (2008 Blk/Blk, MT) and I'm loving it. I just ordered a new Corsa Sport exhaust and can't wait to put it on.
Now my question: Has anyone ever tried to remove the front and rear emblems? Not sure why but I think I like the all black look without the badges. Issue I had in the past with other cars is sometimes they put holes in the body so that the nubs on the emblems fit in the holes for easy alignment of the emblem. Has anyone ever had theirs off? are there holes under them?

Congrats on the Vette.
The front emblem has 2 holes. I'm not sure about the rear one, but I do not think it has any

Same ~ both to include a third on the vert's have 2-guide pins that align the emblem to the body panel. Additionally, all are held in place with 3M tape. I have found the easiest way to remove the emblems is to take your hair dryer - heat them up and then using a piece of fishing line - slide the fishing line behind either corner of the emblem and start sawing the line back-n-fourth to release the tape from the body panel -thus removing the emblem. You will find during the sawing back-n-fourth process that you will eventually hit the guide pin(s) - simply work around the pin(s) and continue the process. After the emblem is removed, take some "goof-off" or "glue-be-gone" and remove any remaining tape residue.
