Tried 'em all...Meguiar's Insane Shine is the very best.

On our side of the house, Meguiar's gel (in the squeeze bottle) is probably one of the best. When I bought the wife's Jag, I noticed that the tire shine they use lasted about 4-5 washes before it went dull. I was amazed. The Maguiar's only lasted about 3-4 washes. I got a bottle of it from them he said that it was a commercial product. I can't quite remember the name of it but the detailer said they cut it with water b/c it is soooo thick and it also has a pleasant fragrance smell to it. I plan on having him pick me up a gallon of it this week. He said it costs $26.10 but judging from the performance that should last quite awhile. But you really can't beat the Meguiar's for $6 or whatever it costs. I get the yellow and black tire sponges in a 2-pack for $.99.

Oh, one thing about this stuff...It goes on with a spray bottle not a tire sponge like the Meguiar's. I tried but it was so misty that it really didn't take. I hold it about 2 inches from the tire wall and spray lightly and get the tire covered THEN I clean the wheels to get the brake dust and any overspray off. It is a fine mist but that might just be a characteristic of the spray bottle he gave me. It looks like it only "wets" the tire like water does but when it dries it is amazingly shiney and lasts a long time.

Hope it helps.

I like the Mothers Reflections product. It gives off more of a matte finish instead of the glossy look. The tires always look as if they just came off the rack.

Sometimes it's hard to find locally so you can also order from Autogeek.

Dude who used to detail my car sold me a 5 gallon bucket of some stuff. I don't know what it is but the bucket is black and the fluid is blue and if you get it on your hands, they stay slick for a while. One coat lasts me about 5 weeks. I LOVE IT.

P.S. According to the bucket it is very flammable...

C-Magic...That's what is used at the Corvette Museum when you pick your car up there. It doesn't have that real glossy shine but it looks great...and NO sling! I only have to use it every two months or so.

If you like a matte finish, another good product is Aerospace 303 Protectant . It also works well on weatherstrip, underhood hoses, etc.

I also agree with the Zaino Bros. tire treatment. It is not glossy. It just makes the tires look new and black. It even makes old tires look new.

too! Zaino all the way. Works better than anything else I have ever tried, and just like their polish, a little goes a long way.

I use the tire wet gel. I have a black coupe and found that doing the tires first and before the car wash works well for me. This way the gel does not splash the car on the side. Give it a try.

I've had great results with Stoner's More Shine, Less Time aerosol tire dressing. I spray it on a rag and wipe it on the tires. It goes on easily, and leaves a matte finish when wiped.

I don't like the glossy look of some dressings and I've found that sprays leave ugly marks on driveways after a rain. This product and application method takes care of both issues. A single treatment lasts months.
