MGW Shifter
Anyone sitting on the fence debating whether to buy a short throw shifter, BUY IT!
Just got finished installing my MGW in my 05 Vert. I am mechanically declined, but it was so easy, had it installed ( with no damage) in about an hour. Just came back from a "test drive". I can't believe the difference in the driving experience with this shifter. Forget about missing a 2 - 3 shift, this thing is so precise you'd have to try to screw it up. Even then, don't think you could.
I was worried about the extra effort involved with shifting and the possible "noise" issues I've read about. Happy to report that there are no issues at all.
