I'm sure all Corvette owners have had the same issue with washing and drying their cars only to find drips all over the place and hitting pockets of trapped water when trying to polish your car. This has been driving me crazy for ages especially on my wife's and my daily drivers since they are both black sedans.
It's no longer a problem. Ed (Pipedreams) offers the perfect solution, the Air Force Master Blaster made by Metro Induestires. I've listed a link to the blaster on Ed's site below.
Metro also makes blowers for pet groomers to dry dogs and that's how this unit came about. The Blaster is a much more powerful version that has 2 separate motors you can control independently. I've tried electric leaf blowers and they help dry a car a little but with this unit you can dry the entire car without ever touching it and that reduces surfaces scratches a whole lot. It not only provides an extremely high speed flow of air it also warms (not too hot) the air to aid in drying.
Since we have three dogs I figured we can use it to dry them off after a bath as well. Of course we'll only switch on one of the two motors or we'd have to tie the dogs down to prevent them from blowing away.
When researching the blaster I found that not only did Ed offer a great price but he doesn't gouge you on shipping like some sites.

I just ordered the blower yesterday from this site and I did have to pay for shipment. I paid $20 to my home in Virginia. I'm not sure where you got the information that it was free!!

I think he is confused since he did not order it directly on my site, he paid the same $20 shipping you did, I just gave him a total when we processed his order
Carboman, I just drive mine fast after washing and all the water is off.
You could try this approach too, ............ oh............... wait a minute, you better stick with the Master Blaster...
Your car does always LOOK great though..
Bite me you Z06 Snob
As for the guys with the leaf blower comments, I've gone that route with decent results but there are two problems,
1.They don't do as good a job so you still get drips
2.They blow particles of dust on to your freshly washed wet car

Every time I use my Air Force Master Blaster, I get more impressed with this. It did my Harley yesterday and what a big difference. Air compressor or leaf blower does not compare.
