I've read a few posts in the past about wide body (ZO6) conversions, I love the look of the Z but I can't see spending on a new Z specially with the economy as it is.
So the question to any that have converted: Where is the best place to get the body parts, and the wheels.
Thanks
Most seem to have got the panels from Gene Culley.
Also if you do a search there was someone who posted all the parts and part #'s if I remember correctly.
Good luck with the conversion. I think they look great.
Of couse some will give you grief for not getting a "real" ZO6.

Thanks for the info... years ago I used to convert 911 Carreras into Turbos, at a company I worked for, the cars looked awesome, it was about the same, wider fenders the wing and so on.
Yeah I've heard about this is taboo subject in CF, IDGAF.
Thanks again guy.
That is the icon for lurking and listening, meaning I want to know too......
If you have a coupe, Gene Culley has the best deals that I have seen. Caravaggio makes plug and play rear quarters for Verts. I found Z06 OEM wheels in the parts for sale section of the forum.

FYI: Everything you'll need, inclusive of a "definitive guide" for the conversion/installation of parts (ref. Post #1 of the following link), you'll find here. Best of luck to your endeavor.
You can also get Caravaggio fenders for the front for about half what the GM ones cost but you have to do some fitting first. That's what I did. It'll cost you around 10-12k and more if you want expensive wheels or complete paint job. I love mine, glad I did it.
Here is the current pricing list. Please contact me if I can assist you.
