IMHO, Zymol is only good for show cars that never see the outdoors. I used it for a while on a former car, and I was not impressed with its lack of durability. Now I use Zaino with great results.

BTW, there is one Zymol product that IS worth the money (not 600.00 though). It's called Black Zymol. Auto geek (Forum Vendor) sells it for around 50 or 60 $'s. Works miracles with black cars. Takes out lite clear coat scratches and fixes swirls. Worth the money for sure.

I used to use it on my old XKE. It worked great. Only problem was the the XKE rarely was driven. I can't beleive the $600.00!!!! Maybe he can offer some GM stock with it.
Probably not. There is WalMart Zymol and then there is the real Zymol. Huge difference in product quality. Not sure why they did it as it ruined thier reputation. Many years back Zymol held legenday status. Then the watered down version became available .... and the rest is history.

I have a bottle sitting in my garage.I'll sell it to you for 150 bucks!!
Seriously though,I use it once in a while. It's ok.600 bucks??They'd need to through in ELLIOT SPITZER'S hooker for an hour or 2!!

Used Zymol for years and its durability was far from good. I checked the Black Zymol stuff and it was for non-clear coat cars. Aren't Corvettes clear-coated??
BTW, I followed some forums threads on Rejex for my 08 C6 black. It is great except seems to show hand oil around door release and rear deck. I am only half Sicilian which makes me wonder how I can be that greasy. No offense to other pisans!

You can buy it in your local auto parts store for less tha $20 and do it yourself. I've tried it and it's good for long lasting protection, but it's a real PITA to remove. Not worth all the trouble to me unless the car is sitting outside 24/7
I used to use Zymol all the time, but when I put in on the pad, I'd always add a knifeful of carnuba paste and spread it over the Zymol and apply them with an orbital buffer. Only real problem I had was that it didn't seem to last as long (back before I started using cotton towels to dry the car), but the shine was always deep and wet. Then I discovered Zaino ... and that was the end of the story.
I was once a Zymol fan, but used it only on my Porsches, which were garage queens and even then only after allowing the local Zymol distributor to use my car for a demonstration (which meant stripping all the old wax off using the special Zymol cleaner).
The upside is that it does make your paint look like it's still wet. And it smells good, what Larry Reynolds at Car Care Specialites calls the "Pina Colada Experience". I was instructed to put it on using only my fingers and to wipe it off before it dried.
The downside is that it's expensive and it doesn't last very long. Absolutely (IMHO) the wrong wax to use if you drive your car very much and wash it a lot.
For $600 though, I would do it on your car every month for the next year. (provided you buy the Zymol)
BTW, I've been told that the Zymol Wax one can buy in the neighborhood auto parts store is nothing more than Turtle Wax.
In summary, I've had wonderful results with it, but don't use it any more.
