Default Ride Quality Difference between Runflats

Is there any difference in ride quality between Base suspension GoodYear Runflats and the Z51 Supercar Runflats?

Meaning do the base tires ride softer/better - less harsh than the Supercar tires?

Depends on type of road and weather. My non Z51 tires did pretty good today in 30 degrees. I heard the Z51 tires are not good below 40 or so and almost dangerous in the rain. On say a normal road (somewhat bumpy in my area), I would say they are about the same. The Z51s may be slightly noisier, at least it seemed like that on my test drives.

All run flats are noisy and are hard riding.

....especially if you compare them to something like a PS2...night and day difference.

I haven't used the base model tires, but the Supercars (Z51) are downright scary in the rain while driving on any freeway in Houston above 35 mph. I'd be willing to bet the base model tires are not as stiff as the supercar tires, but probably every bit as noisy. I can't wait until I try the new Michilen ZP's.

Default Runflats

I have run the non supercar tires for about 7K and they are loud on the highway - depending on the type of road suurface. I did get into two heavy rainstorms and they did track really well up to 60mph with no hydroplaning issues.
