Default Odd CD changer behavior

I have the 6 CD changer. When it finishes playing a CD (say slot #1), it switches to the next CD (slot 2) in the changer - as it should. After I while I shut off the car. Later, I get back in the car and start it up. Instead of finishing the new CD (slot 2), it goes back and restarts the previous one (slot 1). I have noticed that this has happened a couple times. Nothing worth going to the dealer about, just odd and a little annoying. Does this happen to anyone else?

Do have the RDM (random) feature selected ...???

Otherwise, no it should not behave that way.

Yes, I've had that happen a couple of times. I've yet to figure out if the CD is being odd and doing that, or if I'm doing something to cause that. I don't think that I'm doing anything, but I'm still trying to figure it out. As a note, I do not have it set to "random".

Since radio and CD settings are updated and saved for each driver (Personalization Settings),
using different fobs could cause the behavior that you described.

No. I don't have RDM selected. I've never used RDM.

I'm the only driver and I always use the same FOB.
