Default Window Valet GP

Anybody want in on a Window Valet GP?

How about 15 or more orders, and we will sell them for $135.00 shipped (normally 149.99)?

GP will run for two weeks......once we get 10, I will ship orders and each customer will only be charged the $135.00 price point with free shipping.

If you want one, simply place your order and mention the Forum GP in your order comments. I will make sure you are charged correctly. If we cannot get to the minimum of 10 orders then the GP will be canceled.

You can place your order at the below link if you want in...

Corvette Window Valet

Thanks,

Jim

Any software update on these? They seem to be extremely tricky to close the windows, sometimes I'll sit there for 5 minutes trying to get the timing down pressing the buttons.

That sounds very unusual...I'll have to check with the manufacturer to see if it's something we can help you with.

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks Dave, I purchased mine from you guys. I don't think its a malfunction, it's just the timing that's set to press the button combination is kind of weird. Sometimes going slow works, sometimes fast works, sometimes pausing at different points works. It's frustrating to the point where I usually don't even use it anymore.

Here's the response I got from the manufacturer, verbatim:

"For a C5, it's very easy to tell if the car is receiving the fob click because you can hear the door lock actuator. With a C6, it's much more difficult to tell.

In both cases, the Window Valet needs to get <click> (any delay from zero up to 1.1 seconds) <click> (another delay from zero up to 1.1 seconds) <click>. If any delay is too long, the Window Valet will start over with the three count. So, if the Window Valet does not respond, wait two or three seconds to be sure the count is cleared then simply press the lock/unlock button three times in succession.

The best tip may be to be sure that the key fob buttons are pressed firmly and completely to be sure the fob signal is being sent out."

Hopefully that's helpful for you...

Thanks,
Dave

We've never heard of this happening before, so my advice would be to call the manufacturer (Top Down Technologies) to see what insight they can offer. Their number is 866-838-4669. Let me know what they say...it'll be good to know in case other people run into this in the future.

Thanks,
Dave
